Taxwerx Shares Career Advice With Post-Secondary Students

Taxwerx's founder Matt Hutcheon understands the importance of networking and mentorship from his own entrepreneurial experience. Matt was invited to be one of six speakers providing real-life tips to students of the University of Northern British Columbia and the College of New Caledonia in February 2019. His presentation focused on the importance of building connections and the value of having a mentor to provide guidance and perspective.

"I'm excited to be a part of this event" said Matt. "I think the more access students have to suggestions and tips about 'real life' while they're still in school, the better prepared they'll be for when they graduate. When the Chamber approached me about participating, I was eager to be a part of it."
